Alumni Relations – with nearly 30,000 alumni in 130 countries, London Business School’s global network offers a wealth of knowledge, resources and networking opportunities. There are 65 clubs worldwide, a substantive alumni career services programme and significant opportunities for alumni to engage in the life of London Business School
Annual Giving – London Business School raises more than £1 million annually for gifts in support of the Annual Fund programme, through both reunion fundraising and direct appeals. London Business School’s leadership donor society – the Capital Society – has grown significantly in the past 5 years with nearly 400 donors in 2008-09
Major Gifts – London Business School raises significant gifts (£50k+) from individual alumni and friends of the school in support of numerous endowment, capital and special initiatives such as scholarship, faculty chairs and research
Trust, Foundation and Corporate Partners – London Business School raises significant gifts (£10k+) from trusts, foundations and corporations in support of capital, endowment and special initiatives and in addition, sponsorship support for major events. In addition, London Business School has a corporate partnership programme raising nearly £500k annually in membership
The Advancement team works closely with external bodies and internal departments, such as the Dean, Governing Body, International Alumni Council, Global Advisory Council, Faculty, students and staff. With the arrival of a new Dean and a new Associate Dean for Advancement in 2009, followed by the re-structuring of the Advancement Group, London Business School will launch a £multi-million comprehensive campaign in support of its world-class research, academic programmes and innovative new facilities. Members of the Advancement group at all levels have a major role to play in the success of such an endeavour, by working to build important relationships and promote London Business School.
